This canvas was upcycled from antique kimono for a girl. It has a strong inpact with a combination of red, black and cream chrysanthemums of different shapes. Please enjoy the freshness of colors and antique luxury of fabric.

Kimono used for this item was made in early Showa period (around 1930ies).

This kimono was kept in a wardrode for long years before we upcycled it (its' good-condition parts) into an art panel.

Chrysanthemum is a symbol of high rank, longlivety and safety. It is used in Japan emperor's family crest. Chrysanthemum is often used in decorating houses for New Year and other festive occasions in Japan. It has a strong stem and lives long even after being cut, so is considered a symbol of long life.

This kimono was made of raw silk crepe - a fabric often used for children's kimono due to its' soft touch.

The panel can be displayed on a table, etc.

You will need tacks or nails to hang it on the wall.

Because it is light, you can hang it with two ordinary thumbtacks.

You can also lean it against an easel.
